Hanahan Fire Department to Horry County for Rescue Efforts

City of Hanahan Fire Department sends a paramedic crew to Horry County to assist with the rescue efforts in the area. Assistant Chief Bargeron (Paramedic) and EMT Esposito were assigned to Horry County Station #33.

SC Forestry Commission to issue statewide burning ban

COLUMBIA – With the approach of Hurricane Florence, the South Carolina Forestry Commission will issue a State Forester’s Burning Ban for all counties, effective at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12. A State Forester’s Burning Ban prohibits all outdoor burning, including yard debris burning, campfires and burning for forestry, wildlife or agricultural purposes in unincorporated areas.
