NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 23, 2021 at 4:00 p.m., the City of Hanahan will hold a public hearing in the Debbie Lewis Municipal Chambers, 1255 Yeamans Hall Road, Hanahan, SC 29410.
The purpose of the public hearing is to review program performance and accomplishments conducted under a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project known as the Charleston Farms Neighborhood Revitalization project (#4-NR-18-003) wherein the following activities were undertaken: the installation of approximately 900 linear feet of sidewalk on Carolyn Street, installation of approximately 900 linear feet of sidewalk on Corner Avenue and demolition of one (1) dilapidated structure. All grant activities took place within the target area of the Charleston Farms Neighborhood and Town Center District in Hanahan, SC. The total amount of CDBG funds expended on this project was $323,884.
This public hearing and the matters to be discussed are subject to the provisions of the City of Hanahan’s Citizen Participation Plan, developed in anticipation of participation in the State of South Carolina’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, providing for the participation of the citizens of Hanahan in the planning and implementation of community and economic development projects which will involve CDBG funds.
The Citizen Participation Plan and the application are available for review at the Hanahan City Hall, 1255 Yeamans Hall Rd., Hanahan, SC 29410, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
