Sergeant Breen was born on November 26, 1985, and was raised in a small town in Boardman Ohio. Sergeant Breen was raised by his mother Joyce Orr and grew up around an amazing family. Sergeant Breen later enjoyed life by playing numerous of sports to include; Baseball, Football and track and field. Sergeant Breen grew up to be an outstanding baseball and football player and was nominated on the all-star teams numerous of times. Sergeant Breen also enjoys watching to sports and his favorite teams are the Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoys playing sports and golfing. Sergeant Breen attended Boardman High School in the State of Ohio where he later graduated in 2005. Sergeant Breen then went on to work in Juvenile Corrections for two years at the Mahoning County Juvenile Justice Center all while earning his Associate Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice and graduated in 2009 from Youngstown Ohio. In the year of 2010 Sergeant Breen attended the Ohio Peace Officer’s Training Academy (Police Academy) at Kent State Trumbull University where he completed his police training. In March of 2010 Sergeant Breen got hired at his first two police departments in Ohio which were; Washingtonville Police Department and the Goshen Township Police Department where he served as a patrolman until June of 2013. In July of 2013 Sergeant Breen was hired with the Hanahan Police Department. During Sergeant Breen’s career with Hanahan he has dedicated his time and devotion to the career not only in the uniform, but on the out leading young youth in the Cadet and Explorer Programs as well as coaching the Hanahan Hawks girls high school football Powder Puff Team to their first ever championship in 2017. Sergeant Breen also has experience in Criminal Investigations where he was previously promoted to the rank of Corporal. Sergeant Breen just recently got promoted to the rank of Sergeant at the end of 2017 and has devoted his time and promise to continue his career within the Hanahan Police Department. Sergeant Breen has eight years of law enforcement knowledge and experience not only from the State of Ohio, but South Carolina as well.
