Joe is originally from Charlottesville, VA and spent time visiting family here in Hanahan as a child. His love of the low country brought him from Boone, NC back to Hanahan in 2013. He currently resides in Old Hanahan with his wife Shaine and their son Joe Jr. Their eldest daughter Kristen is a senior at UNC Chapel Hill. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family boating, fishing, hunting and camping.
