OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission statement focuses on serving the public by administering justice in a fair, efficient and respectful manner to enhance public trust and community confidence in our court system and services provided.

We provide an accessible legal forum for individuals.  The court strives for accurate, time relevant and compliant reporting of all information and maintaining a current court records system.

The court also provides professional, quality and courteous communication to all customers, which is paramount to our successes in the community.

 

COURT TIMES

The Hanahan Municipal Court sessions are every Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.   Jury Trial dates will be posted as scheduled.  If court is canceled for any reason, it will be posted on the website immediately.

Municipal Judges and Court Staff

The Municipal Judges of the City are appointed by City Council for terms as determined by City Council.  The Court Administrator and Court Clerks are full-time employees of the City.

If any parties to a case should have a question, please feel free to contact the Court Office at (843) 576-5262.  Clerks cannot give legal advice.  Additionally, you may not speak with the Judge prior to court about a case.  Should you need to contact the Officer prior to court, please call the Police Department at (843) 747-5711.
