Ken Boggs

Biography

Ken Boggs was honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy in 1988. He moved to the local area to support organizations that provide services to the U.S. Armed Forces. He moved to Hanahan in 2014 where he continues to do so.

Prior to being elected in 2020, Ken served as a director and parliamentarian to the South Carolina Autism Society. He is also a founding member, former office holder, and current director for the Charleston-based Family Resource Center for Disabilities and Special Needs.

Ken was baptized Free Methodist but frequents Churches of various denominations. He currently lives in the Gold Cup Springs Subdivision in Hanahan with his wife Denise. And, receives frequent visits from their four sons; Richard Berry, Matt Montgomery, Kyle and James Boggs. And, their grandson Elijah, son to Richard. And, their God-daughter Allison Brazina.
